Most metabolic research targets hormone receptors. 5-Amino-1MQ targets an enzyme. Specifically, it inhibits NNMT — nicotinamide N-methyltransferase — a cytoplasmic enzyme that methylates nicotinamide using S-adenosylmethionine as the methyl donor. Why This Target
