Terms and Conditions

In force for orders placed from October 7, 2026 at 18:35 Eastern European Summer Time. Orders placed before that date are governed by version 1.0.
1. Who we are
- 1.1CertaPeptides is a trade name of CERTALAB S.R.L., a Romanian company: sole registration code (CUI) 54169956, Trade Register number J2026014773006, registered office Intrarea Gheorghe Simionescu nr. 19, ap. - 1.2"We", "us" and "our" mean CERTALAB S.R.L. "You" and "the buyer" mean the person or organisation placing an order.
2. Scope
- 2.1These Terms apply to every order placed through chinapeptideshop.com, through assisted checkout and by email, and to the use of the website.
- 2.2We may change these Terms. Each version has a number and a date. The version you accept at checkout applies to that order; a later version applies to an order only if you accept it.
- 2.3You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us.
3. Who may buy
- 3.1Our products are offered exclusively to persons who do not act as consumers: businesses, laboratories, research institutions and individual researchers buying in the course of their professional or research activity. By ordering, you declare that you do not act as a consumer (the Buyer Declaration, section 3.3).
- 3.2To order, you need an account with a verified email address (one sign-in by magic link or Google). The billing email must be the account email.
- 3.3Buyer Declaration. When you order you declare that: (a) you buy in the course of your professional or research activity and not as a consumer; (b) you will use the products only for in-vitro laboratory research, as described in section 6; (c) you will not administer the products to humans or animals, use them in clinical trials involving humans, or supply them to anyone for any of those uses; (d) you have checked that the products may lawfully be delivered to, held and used at the delivery address, and you hold any licence or authorisation that the law of that place requires; (e) the information you give us is true and complete.
- 3.4If you nevertheless act as a consumer, the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you are not affected by these Terms, including the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity (sections 8 and 9).
4. Destination law
- 4.1You are responsible for knowing and complying with the law of the delivery country and of the place where the products will be held and used, including any rules on medicines, controlled or listed substances, import and customs.
- 4.2Some products cannot be shipped to some countries for legal and regulatory reasons. The product page lists those countries, and checkout refuses such a delivery. That list does not mean that a product is lawful everywhere else; section 4.1 still applies.
5. Orders, our checks and when the contract is formed
- 5.1Placing an order is an offer to buy. It does not form a contract.
- 5.2We first send an email confirming that we have received your order and, where payment is due, how to pay. Receiving the order or the payment does not form a contract.
- 5.3After payment we check the order (the product, the delivery country, the buyer declaration and the payment). The contract is formed only when we send you the order-acceptance email. We ship only orders we have accepted.
- 5.4We may refuse an order, or cancel it before we accept it, without giving further reasons, in particular when: the delivery to that country is not allowed or not permitted for that product; we suspect fraud, resale or a breach of these Terms; the buyer declaration appears to be untrue; the order or the circumstances indicate use other than in-vitro research (for example questions about dosing or administration to humans or animals); or the product is unavailable. If we refuse or cancel an order that you have already paid, we return the payment in full.
- 5.5We do not give advice on the use of any product.
- 5.6Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies. A price change does not affect an order already placed. Promotional codes can be used once, cannot be combined and may be withdrawn.
6. Research use only
- 6.1All products are sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not medicines and have not been approved by any authority for any use in humans or animals.
- 6.2Products must not be: administered to humans or animals in any way; used in clinical trials involving humans; used for the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of any disease; used as food, a food supplement or a cosmetic; or supplied to another person for any of these uses.
- 6.3Product descriptions, analytical data and certificates describe the material supplied. They are not medical or scientific advice and do not suggest any use other than in-vitro research.
7. Payment and delivery
- 7.1We accept SEPA bank transfer to our IBAN and, where checkout offers it for the delivery and billing address, instant SEPA through Paysera's hosted online-banking page.
- 7.2We deliver to the countries listed on our shipping page, subject to section 4.2. Rates and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout; see /shipping. Accepted orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 business days of acceptance.
- 7.3Delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or customs.
- 7.4For buyers who do not act as consumers, the risk passes when the products are handed to the carrier. For consumers, it passes on delivery.
- 7.5After a customs seizure we do not reship the same product to that country.
8. Withdrawal and returns
- 8.1If you act as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery under Directive 2011/83/EU, using the withdrawal form on our website or any clear statement. Sealed products whose seal has been broken after delivery cannot be returned where the law excludes them for health protection or hygiene reasons.
- 8.2To return products, contact support@chinapeptideshop.com with your order number to receive a return authorisation and the return address. The buyer bears the return shipping cost, except where the return results from our error.
- 8.3We reimburse to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice; we may wait until we receive the products or proof that you sent them, whichever is first.
- 8.4Damaged or incorrect deliveries are put right at no cost to you, normally by replacing the affected items. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.
9. Liability
- 9.1If you act as a consumer, the legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years applies, and nothing in this section limits it or any other mandatory right.
- 9.2For buyers who do not act as consumers: our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the price paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of research data.
- 9.3Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
- 9.4You are responsible for any use of the products contrary to sections 3.3, 4 and 6, and you will compensate us for claims by third parties and fines that result from such use.
10. Intellectual property
- 10.1The content of the website (text, graphics, logos, software) belongs to CERTALAB S.R.L. and is protected by law. You may not reproduce it or make derivative works without our written consent.
- 10.2Product names, peptide identifiers and CAS numbers identify the products and may be trademarks of their owners.
11. Applicable law and disputes
- 11.1These Terms and every contract with us are governed by Romanian law. Disputes go to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania. If you act as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may also bring proceedings there.
- 11.2Before going to court, please contact support@chinapeptideshop.com so that we can try to resolve the matter.
- 11.3Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Research use only: All CertaPeptides products are sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not medicines and must not be administered to humans or animals. All products are for research purposes only.
